GIA was founded in 2025 from a national effort to strengthen Gabon’s food security. For many years, the country relied heavily on imported food. To address this challenge, some local companies came together to reduce dependency on imports by investing in poultry farming.
From this collaboration, GIA was created to provide farmers with the tools, knowledge, and resources they need. Today, we work side by side with farmers, suppliers, and partners to build a stronger and more self-reliant future for Gabon.
Our mission is to develop and strengthen farmers with the training, technical support, and high-quality resources. We aim to supply the best quality day-old chicks, chicken feed, and seeds, and microloans to grow their production capacity. GIA is dedicated to making poultry farming more efficient, sustainable, and profitable for Gabonese farmers.
GIA’s vision is to see a strong, self-reliant poultry sector in Gabon. Farmers can produce more, families enjoy locally raised chicken and eggs, and the country relies less on imports. GIA is a connected network of farmers, suppliers, and partners, all working together to secure Gabon’s food future.
